Acknowledgment to Country

 

Mindfield acknowledges the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters of the Adelaide Plains region on which we work and live. Mindfield also acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and holds deep respect for their cultural beliefs and practices.​

Mindfield specialises in optimal performance and wellbeing, offering programs and services by Ben Swift and Andrea Hopley.

 

Their unique approach integrates theoretical knowledge with experiential wisdom, providing engaging programmes and unique experiences. Developed and refined over two decades of professional experience, their work is recognised as innovative and unique.

​​​​​​​​​​Ben is an experienced and skilled mental health and wellbeing practitioner and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW). He has worked across government and non-government services and brings a unique set of skills, a deep and broad knowledge base and a commitment to supporting people to heal, to discover and to flourish.  He is passionate about social and psychological approaches to mental health and wellbeing, having led Open Dialogue and Hearing Voices projects in South Australia, creating novel supports and services.​​​​​

Andrea's work in education and the performing arts has equipped her with expertise in facilitating and teaching both creativity and performance. She brings this expertise and experience to the creation, development and implementation of mindfield's unique programmes and events.
